Hi! I’m Michelle Backus, CEO and Founder of Augment Intelligence.  My purpose is to advance whole-person healthcare through innovation and advocacy.

My career journey has taken me from developing software in a quantum physics lab to building systems for the world’s largest IP network; then after experiencing significant loss and grief, I dedicated my career to advancing healthcare through technology. 

I am a technology executive with over two decades delivering high-impact digital and AI transformation for Fortune 500 global enterprises and healthcare organizations ranging from $500M to $70B in annual revenue.  My success delivering extensive value at scale inspired me to create Augment Intelligence Accelerator to help organizations do the same, faster and with greater impact.
